I just learned that the new iOS8 update will allow various tweaks to the keyboard. Does anyone know if it will be possible to get Colemak natively supported?

I have been wondering that too.  Would seem that with iOS 8 it would be possible but not sure.

You can get SwiftKey on iOS 8, and it supports Colemak (at least it does on Android). That said, there's not much of a use-case for Colemak on a touch screen,  since you can't touch type. It won't surprise me much if MessageEase comes out for iOS soon.

Fleksy keyboard supports Colemak on Android but not (as I just learned) on iPhone. I'll check into SwiftKey.

Also, I typed for some time on Android with Colemak and it was great. Liked it much more than QWERTY. It may seem strange, but many of the positives carry over to the "thumb-only" touch screen.

    Hi gang!

I just wanted to chime in and ask if anyone knows of a way to remap the Caps Lock key to Backspace on iOS 8 with external keyboards.  Anyone know?
