]]>It would be nice if they were a bit easier to buy though. The service from Hasu is great, but the fact that you have to order them from a "guy on a forum" is going to be barrier for the casual user and is therefore yet another barrier to custom/alternative layouts being more mainstream.
]]>My TMK files can program the device sold by Hasu over at GeekHack, as described in that article. It wouldn't be hard to get Dvorak going that way. Hasu ships from Japan, very reliably in my experience.
They are cheapish to make too, and it seems like a fun experience. But I haven't done it.

Did these get made, and can you purchase easily?
Or would they be cheap to make?
Either fixed or programmable layouts acceptable.
