    MSKLC 1.4 and Windows 8 (64bit?)

    I've installed MS Keyboard Layout Creator on Windows 8 64bit, but when I run it, the visual keymap doesn't load.  does anyone have any clue how to fix it, or know of a good alternate program.  I prefer MSKLC since it makes native layouts (generally more reliable and compatible), so if there's an alternative which does the same, please let me know.

    it doesn't like non-normal DPI, and the shortcut's compatibility tab won't let me use the "ignore DPI" setting, how fun and obnoxious.  I really wish MS would update the bloody thing
