I'm from the states but living in sweden at the moment. I'm soon going to be getting a macbook pro from my job and I want to change the layout to the colemak setting as I have it on my windows based PC. I'm wondering if there are any layouts compatible.

Yes, look at my locale topic (linked to in my sig topic). There I link to discussions and provide my own suggestions for Swedish and other locale Colemak layouts.

If you're looking for a layout file for Mac based on the default locale symbol placements you'll find one from that topic too I think – user Padde made one for Norwegian that you could easily tweak to Swedish.

I have a couple of macbooks. Default colemak on the mac is not the most comfortable thing for swedish. Ä and Ö need to be produced trough a dead key - by pressing alt(option) + u, then followed by A or O. The Å oddly is placed on alt(option)+a which is much easier to hit. Nevertheless I have a swedish layout running which adds öäå to the layout. PM me if you need help.
