    I am hoping these means that getting my favorite keyboard layout on an iPhone will become feasible soon.  I am waiting like many others for iPhone version 2 with 3G and Flash support.   I would like to get Colemak on it too even if I have to create the layout.

    Yeah, I agree. I know it sounds... pedantic, but I will only even think about getting an iPod touch (iPhone without the phone and some other features xD) if I can set the keyboard to Colemak!
