Has somebody seen or created a video where there's a side by side comparison showing hands typing the same text in a different keyboard layout?
I think that for some people looking at the movement of hands could be more persuasive than reading statistics about the differences of keyboard layouts.
It's a good point. Might be a little tricky to set up, you'd ideally want to arrange for the two typists to type at pretty much the same speed, so that the split-screen comparison could clearly show just how little the fingers need to move when typing the same text in Colemak. It would be interesting to see.

The second video compares qwerty and dvorak. The difference in the pattern of finger movement is significant. I guess that colemak would look similar to dvorak in the video.
Making a similar video today, with a camera filming from above the keyboard, might persuade people to learn colemak. The video can be made especially attractive if the typists are attractive girls with big boobs.
