I'm changed colemak in Ubuntu yesterday

I'm still struggled, it looks fine

    the real problem is CAPSLOOK

I'm totally agree to replace capslook to backspace.

but it doesn't mean I don't need Hot Key to switch "uppercase mod".

do I hold my little finger on shift key every time to use this ?

My solution: Make the CapsLock an Extend modifier instead, which is much much more powerful than a simple Backspace!

Then, you can also activate CapsLock (my mapping for that is Extend+Esc).

    See my sig topics.

I turn on/off capslock by pressing shift twice. Activate this feature in your ubuntu keyboard settings.
