    Hi all

    Philipp Kiefer points out that putting the space on the right thumb in mod-dh improves the score on KLA.

    I notice I have thumb on right in plain Colemak, and on left in mod-dh, while Steve has it on left for both.

    Is there a defined preference or was this always "up to the user" ?

    Always up to the user. A poll by Fruit at the Monkeytype Discord reported 58% left thumb, 35% right thumb, and even 3% index finger (92 votes). The poll wasn't layout-aware so I don't know whether layout choice would affect those figures.

    I think gaming is the main effect on why thumb usage statistic is skewed towards left thumb. I started gaming much earlier than I learned (proper) typing, I guess left thumb usage kinda stuck with me because of that.
