    I wonder if this is just a peculiarity with this version of Office, but I am running Mac OSX 10.5.2 on a newish MacBook. In Office 2008 the "I" key and the "Y" key still function as if they were mapped to QWERTY, but only in combination with the command key. Long story short it's annoying if I want to italicise text.
