How do I stop it from acting as caps lock?

Basically, say I make this typographical error:

    us [instead of up]

    I press caps lock:

    u

    then when I continue:

    uP AND

    It is very annoying! :(

Maybe make the FAQ even more clear on this point? It appears to happen too often to new users.

xmodmap:  commandline:1:  bad keysym in remove modifier list 'Caps_Lock', no corresponding keycodes
    xmodmap:  1 error encountered, aborting.
^ is what I get when I do:
    xmodmap -e "remove Lock = Caps_Lock"

What operating system are you using? What steps did you follow to install Colemak?

    I am using Gentoo GNU/Linux.

I installed it to Xorg. I can't install it to console because I don't have this command: install-keymap

So it boots with dvorak and I have to startx to change it.

I am having the same problem on FreeBSD when using the keyboard switcher in KDE 4.1.  Here's the error:

    % xmodmap -e "remove Lock = Caps_Lock"
xmodmap: commandline:1: bad keysym in remove modifier list 'Caps_Lock', no corresponding keycodes
    xmodmap: 1 error encountered, aborting.

As a side note, today is the first day I've tried Colemak.  I'm an experienced Dvorak user, but I want to give Colemak a serious try as well.  It took me like 20 minutes just to type this post. :P
