Hi there Andreas; and a good Jol to you!
I finally found the Norwegian Colemak layout for Mac (ColeMac?) on your page... via an IPod forum, haha. But being a MacNoob I had a bitch of a time getting it to work. Part of the fun stemmed from cutting and pasting from a Safari page, and getting the encoding all wrong in the process. (Incidentally, Shai's .keylayout is more robust since he has used codes like "a85", "a107" and "a108" instead of the special characters directly.) I also didn't manage to change the file type from .txt to .keylayout so I had to resort to pasting the file's content into a copy of Shai's layout file!
Do you think you could find time to put up a proper link and instructions (also a link to Shai's pages of course!) so we can have somewhere to direct people in the future? I'll put out the Windows install package I made soon, I guess - I'm still pondering whether to make some nice layout graphics like I once did for my extended Norwegian Dvorak install.
One weakness, if you can call it that, with your Mac layout is that it isn't as internationally nor Unicode friendly as Shai's installs are. Mine is and more - to the point of overdoing it! - but then the problem is that I've done the international/Unicode stuff my own way, before I even heard of Shai. Oh well, I suppose that's acceptable at least for now.
There are a few bugs and omissions in your layout if one tries something fancy: The accent apostrophe plus "o" produces an accented ø for instance, while the grave/diaeresis/caret apostrophes don't make anything with "o"/"O" like they ought to. You probably don't use those yourself, or maybe you have updated your own file since the one on your page?
If you don't have the time to look into this, maybe some other Norski has. Maybe even me. If it's okay with you, that is.
[Edit: I've found a strange quirk. Although the Mac layout is just fine for general typing, e.g. in a browser text field such as this one, in Flash games such as Air Typer or Letters/Words the "o" key doesn't work! In Typer Shark it's okay (is that a Java app and not Flash like the other two, maybe?). Could something like Windows' VKEYs be the problem? The "o" is mapped to the key that holds our special letter "ø" in Norwegian QWERTY, so I suspect that this is part of my problem. But I have no idea where to start convincing a Mac that there's nothing special about that key anymore...]
