I have taken the Hi-games typing test numerous times. And every time I have looked at the scores along to the right side of the screen. Its mostly Qwerty users. The fastest right now is a Qwerty user typing at 155 wpm!!!
I certainly do like the Colemak layout and have been for a year and a half now. But this is  just puzzling to me. Not even Dvorak users are on the the list. They are if you look further down on the list. Maybe we just need to have more Colemak users registered and take the typing test. The fastest speed I know of is of Shail Coleman who says he types at 100 wpm. I wish I typed that fast but get by at 70 wpm.

Can somebody explain to me this puzzling news??

In the top 100 scores I counted 11 Dvorak users and 6 Colemak users. The top Colemak score is Ryan Heise in eleventh position with 126 words per minute. Given the overwhelming monopoly that qwerty enjoys, I think this means that Dvorak gets a pretty generous showing in the top 100 and Colemak even more so. After all, I'd be very surprised indeed if either Dvorak or Colemak has anywhere near 11 or 6% of market share even among the fastest typists.

However, we cannot expect the sample population participating in such a test to be representative of much else. Keyboard lovers may be faster typists in general, and they are also more likely to try something hard like changing layout just to see if it works. Also, Ryan Heise's test has gotten much attention from this board. So the Dvorak and Colemak users will be overrepresented in the base population of the test as well.

Furthermore, the samples are too small to allow us to make predictions. It's really not easy. I agree with Jammycakes though, that it is pleasing to see such a strong presence from both Dvorak and Colemak there. And it was kinda nice to see Colemak beat Dvorak - which as we all know was the fastest layout in the world up to 2006 (based on a couple of 1-shot case studies, hehe).
