I've recently switched my laptop to using Linux Mint, and there's a small problem with the version of Colemak that's included in X11 -- backspace does not autorepeat. So, when you hold it down, it still only counts as one backspace.  This problem can be temporarily fixed by typing 'xset r 66' at the terminal.  However, this is not saved after a reboot.  Does anyone know how to save this?

I tried using Google to figure out how to save xset settings but there were *loads* of very different answers, all of them very technical and hard to understand for someone like myself who is fairly new to using Linux.

AFAIK there's no way other then "xset r 66", but you can put in it your login script (.xsession, .xinitrc, or similar).
