When should one stop using a on-screen keyboard?
I'm doing colemak by night, about 1hr per day, using amphetype.
I seem to be stuck on 20 wpm, 96% correct after 2 weeks.
I wonder if looking at the on-screen keyboard is imposing a ceiling. Anyone with similar experiences? If so, how did you memorize the layout?

I'd think if you just move it off screen and if you have no problems continuing to type at the same speed, then it's time to chuck it.  Also play some of the games that throw letters or words at you, if you have no real trouble without it, then it's time to chuck it. Also do some blind typing practice where you only look at the text you are copying from an not where what you are typing appears, that will definitely make improvement.
