    Hi every body,
I 've done my first full Colemak day at work, yesterday.
I ve been using the Colemak by night method for a bit less than 2 months and my typing speed (around 45 wpm) as reached my Qwerty one (I don't touch type ).
I m still struggling with some shortcut (I use essentially VI) but that's better than expected :)

    Kudos!

For Vi shortcuts there is a Colemak remapping. Search the forum.

Dvorak typist here.  Please take my comments with a grain of salt.

I don't remap anything in vi myself, since at work I use it on hundreds of servers, so I must be able to use the default key bindings at all times.
It works pretty well with Colemak, as long as you use the arrow keys for movement.

I know but I m not using it for now for lots of good reasons. The first is I am still switching between both layouts and I the remapping with a qwerty layout is nightmare (at work I need sometime to be efficient and so go back to old way of doing stuff). The second is, it's not practical (still in a work context) to learn a new layout AND a new mapping at the same. That's why  I posted a remapping of the commands in qwerty. I m not planning to use
all my life, but at the moment I need it. Thanks anyway
