    Hey everyone,

I just blogged about my experience over the past week of setting up a Colemak keyboard on Mac and my learning process.  I thought some of you might be interested in it, so here's the story:

    nice post!

sort of did the same thing you did with Dvorak for a couple of months and came to the same conclusion, and found Colemak by accident, been happily using it on my MacBook for two years by now.

good tip on the LED light hack,  I haven't bothered with that since it didn't know about it (or it didn't exist when I was looking for a solution over a year ago) so I've learned to ignore the light. Doesn't to slow me down. Unless it allows me to press it caps lock key down and get repeating key, not really worth adding a hack.

Yeah, I only need the LED hack on the Apple Wireless Keyboard.  The Macbook keyboard itself works perfectly fine without it. :)  Oh, unless you're not getting repeating key now.  The hack does allow the key to repeat.  I can imagine the keyboards act differently depending on which model and year Macbook you have.  If nothing else, you could install it and see if it helps and if not, uninstall it.  Up to you.

Haha, I think it's good enough. Windows ergo keyboards on my Mac always drove me nuts.  It's a "perfect keyboard," because I thought that made a catchy title. :)  ...and hooray for my first forum entry that I had the patience to type in Colemak. :)
