We've been sort of doing this thing in the IRC channel where we had everyone take an MBTI test to see what they'd get. What's interesting is although everyone got different results, the one consistent thing was that most of us were intuitive, which means we preferred information that's abstract or theoretical and tend to trust our hunches. We guessed that people whose perception were of the opposite type, sensing, would be more likely to react to the immediate confusion and frustration caused by a keyboard layout switch and ignore its possible benefits in the future.

    Acoustyk INTJ
    ethana2 INTJ
    jrick ENFJ
    kqr ENFP
    Kupari INFJ
    pmyshkin INTP
    Raito-kun ENFJ
    YaleR INTJ

So take the test and post your results and discuss them.

Interesing.  We'll see how this develops.

EDIT: Actually a friend just said to me, "I'd definitely say you're a T." I don't really know if I'm an ENFP or ENTP. :/

    INTJ

    100% Introverted
    60(something)% Intuitive
    100% Thinking
    40(something)% Judging

That was my results. Can't bother to find the exact test now, though it was a brief but IMO good one. I was surprised to get results that made me happy. :P

INTJ going on INTP. Seems there's quite a strong INTJ contingent among Colemak users.

Our theory continues to be correct with CP22 and heroid of the IRC channel getting INTJ and ENTJ respectively.

over the years, consistently test as INFP

as I recall  F/T  is the one that shows up closest to the middle, the one where I might appear most split.

ISFP/ISTP here. Varies from time to time... I would probably consider myself more of a ISTP though from the description. http://www.mypersonality.info/andersman/

    INTJ / INTP
The J type is supposed to have big opinions and be in love with schedules, while the P type is laid back and easygoing.
I'm solitary, don't like going by a schedule, kinda lazy, but have big opinions  :-)

One of my favorite tests is this one,
    http://kisa.ca/personality/

It's very concise and direct yet allows "I'm in between" for most options, I like that.  It has me as INTP which is truly who I am on the inside.

You're right Kupari, very interesting to see so many INTJs here, when INTJ is supposed to be only 3% of a random sample.

    From the Myer-Briggs Wikipedia article:
Some researchers have interpreted the reliability of the test as being low. Studies have found that between 39% and 76% of those tested fall into different types upon retesting some weeks or years later.

Whenever I test myself I end up with INTP. One must take into consideration that taking the test only ever occurs to me when in a certain mindset. For instance, when I am feeling particularly extroverted, or am more 'feeling' than 'thinking', I am probably going to be out of the house, doing something a bit more real than making check marks on paper.

In short, the sample is skewed towards whatever personality types like to take tests.
