What was the source for the Mac layout downloadable from the site?  The characters printed by the various Alt key combos don't match the standard (at least for the US) layout.

    https://colemak.com/Multilingual

Colemak is designed to be even more multilingually friendly than the standard Mac layout. It is not a standard US layout, more like an enhanced International one. Is that what you're getting at?

Or did you stumble upon our Norwegian ColeMac by accident?  ;)

    Ah, I see.

My problem is that I need symbols.  The wiki page has them, but these aren't working for me, or I'm doing them wrong.

Mainly I need the "section" symbol, which is Alt+6 in the standard Mac layout.  The wiki says:
    AltGr+[\] [s]

I assume this would be Alt+backslash, followed by "s" -- this doesn't work; Alt+backslash produces a character, and has no effect on the next keystroke.

Edit: Ah, figured it out.  Alt+['] [s].  Maybe it's a quirk of the keyboard; the modifier is scancode 39, which is ['] on my keyboard (MacBook).
