there are many words that start with KN (ie: "know", "knife")
it feels strange to keep my three fingers on eio and then use my index on the k and then the n.
do any of you use your index on the k and then use your middle on the n?
or do I need more practice?
Alternative fingering is what I use in that case. Just hit the K with the index and N with the middle. I do that for a few other cases which I can't remember at the moment :) It's actually really easy to get used to also. I didn't even bother with special trainings. It just came with the typing. I tried it once and then just started using it...

When pressing k, the other fingers should rest on ,./.
Otherwise, you will twist your wrist, which will brings RSI in the long run.

Tony are you saying that you move all four of your fingers every time you move up or down a row?
No, you can type it any way you want. But you should be aware how your wrist are twisted each key, or just your fingers. Usually it is a mixture of both, but if the wrist is twisted too much, then you will have RSI symptoms.

So in the long run it's better to stretch the index and the middle fingers that much than twisting your wrist a little?
Btw, I do the same thing I mentioned before for DG and BG but mirrored ofc.

I go for alternate fingering in this case as well. K with the index, N with the middle finger. I do the same for nk (as in "think").
