    Hi,

First of all, sorry if this has already been answered, but I couldn't think of a way to search for it in the forum :-)

I've started learning Colemak. First level in ktouch is STNE which is easy and enjoyable and after doing it five times or so, I can sustain 35-40 STNE-words per minute with 99% accuracy (w00t).

Next level adds R and I and now S, which was easy before, is very hard. Once my left hand's ring finger has entered the game, it really really really wants to be the one who types S.

Now I don't think think anything about Colemak is random, but is there a specific reason for not having it be ASRT instead of ARST? I don't think A-R, R-S or S-T would be much harder to type on ASRT. Then again, that might change at high speeds. Hm.

    Enlighten a noob.

At first, I was also very confused about R and S. You will get used to it in 2 weeks, then make less error in 4 weeks, then get comfortable with it in 2 months.

    It has already discussed here

It's the single most common gripe with newcomers. It'll pass. There are good reasons for making it exactly like that, apparently.
