I glanced across the Colemak FAQ yesterday and it reads:
> Who should learn Colemak?
>
> People that suffer from Repetitive strain injury (RSI), or Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS).
> Anyone that experienced pain or discomfort while typing.
> ...
For me learning to touch type a new layout was hard going on my hands and wrists (though I'll clarify that I wasn't learning Colemak.) I'd imagine that the learning _could_ have exacerbated and complicated any existing problems, if I'd had them in my fingers, hands and/or wrists.
Perhaps the text could be amended or a footnote added.
Cheers.
