I am trying to get acquainted with Colemak and I have installed the layout through KDE's facilities: System Settings > Input, etc. I am on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed.

The only issue that seems to occur is that Left Alt-based shortcuts with keys that have been remapped on Plasma don't seem to work (i.e. those pressed when the focus is on the desktop).

Shortcuts with non-remapped keys like Alt-V seem to work normally.

I have tried redefining the shortcuts; the combination is recognised normally.

Any ideas what gives?
