This is the way that I find comfortable; I use my middle finger for the number 8 and 9 and I use my ring finger for the number 0 and - (dash).

The program that I downloaded free from the internet that taught me some of these moves was called 'Senselang'.

I have noticed that the fingering diagram under your website and other websites teaches me in a different way on how to type  numbers.

I find it very slow, and awkward typing numbers, the way your diagram suggests.  It puts a lot of strain on my right hand.

Shai, I would like to hear what you have to say on this topic?

It's really a matter of personal preference. If your right hand feels strained, you can type 6 with your left hand. The reason I recommend the fingering is that sometimes when typing long numbers (e.g. a credit card number), it's better just to move the hands to the number row, and the most logical number row home position would be 1234 with the left hand, and 7890 with the right one.
