-I typed qwerty for about 5 years.

-Never broke any speed records, probably around 30-40 wpm. 

-Switched to Colemak 2 months ago and I haven't looked back.  I loved the whole experience. There's nothing like taking everything you know and turning it on its head. 

-I now type about 55 wpm according to hi-games' typing test. (which is hella addicting!) Completely lost my QWERTY skills and am reduced to an infantile hunt and peck method when i am without internet or my portable layout. Fortunately that almost never happens.

-Saw recently that Wikipedia is attempting to delete the Colemak entry because it lacks credible sources  :'(  .  Don't loose faith. I'm convinced its the best layout out there and I'm hoping that someday people will learn to type in a manner that's a lot more logical than QWERTY.
