I am TOTALLY sold on Colemak - so much so I can't type on a Querty keyboard but I just got a computer that runs WIN7. YIKES!

Can anyone tell me how to get the Colemak program on a WIN7 computer?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've updated the instructions, it should work fine on Windows 7.

i've tried installing in windows 7, run the installer. see the new keyboard layout, but it doesn't work. when i check the properties of the keyboard layout it's just blank (whereas qwerty and dvorak have keys listed).

any ideas? i've got this same problem on 3 windows 7 servers, all professional version, 2 64bit and a 32bit machine.

Did you install as administrator by right-clicking the installer and selecting 'run as administrator' (or whatever it's called)?

yep. tried that on both the Colemak.msi and install.exe files. Set compatibility mode on the install.exe to Run as Admin. It's not that it doesn't install something, it does, but looking at the layout once it's installed, it's just all blank.

Also, you didn't install from within an archive but unpacked it properly first and then installed? Sorry if I'm asking obvious questions but since I can't actually see and touch your systems...   :)
