Owner description: This is me typing using the Colemak keyboard layout 2 months after switching cold-turkey from qwerty. I'm typing at 58wpm here, with 97.7% accuracy. The capslock key is remapped to backspace, so whenever I use it it's because I've made a typo.
I really enjoy using this layout due to the reduced movement of my fingers while typing, as you should be able to see in the video. It feels a lot more relaxed than typing using qwerty! Sorry about leaving my music on while recording this.

How come everyone is typing with such poor form, resting their palms, bending wrists, too low, stretching with fingers rather than moving forearms.  Looks really uncomfortable.

The second video, posted by Tony_VN, is mine. I'm now typing consistently at 60wpm, with a maximum of about 70wpm. Keyboard samurai, do you have any information as to how I could improve my 'typing form'? Should my wrists not touch my desk at all? When I keep my wrists off my desk then it feels less comfy, and I feel like I am raising my shoulders to do that. Perhaps my desk is too high/chair too low.

I may post another video in a few months if I feel that I have improved enough to demonstrate a better typing technique. I think it would be instructive for others if I do manage to improve. In the meantime, do any experienced and quick Colemak typists want to post videos of them typing?

The linear model sounds the same as the brown switch one, to my surprise. But damn, I'd love to try the reds, but I just don't know anyone or any place in my country that has mech boards :-/

In the future, I hope I can use my feet to press Backspace and Space, that will be very handy and footy for typists.
