As a professional sermon transcriber, I need to squeeze every umpteenth bit of speed out of my typing. I can honestly say that (once I regain my speed back from my shift from QWERTY) I am going to do way better. I can already feel the reduction in finger movement. Colemak is officially awesome.

    Welcome!

As a newcomer, take a gander at my Big Bag of Tricks. Since you're just learning, you might want to consider learning it with one or two ergonomic mods depending on your setup. I've just learnt the Curl mod and have used the AngleWide mod for ages. They depend a bit on your hardware, fingers and preferences so give it a thought or two.

The best trick besides Colemak itself is the Extend layer.

I've used a couple of those. In fact, I learned Colemak through Tarmak. Thanks to you too!
