The forum is now using Panther Forum, please let me know if there are any bugs/issues.

The new forum has a fresh look, and should work well on mobile devices.

It does look overall prettier, but for me the text size in Firefox is way too big!
I tried opening up in Chrome and the text size looks about right though, so perhaps a Firefox-specific stylesheet issue?

If I visit other forums, the text in both browsers looks about the same size, so I don't think it's just my FF. Can anyone else confirm?

    Firefox v47 on Ubuntu 14.04

Update: OK, no need to panic, probably my fault!   I did a View > Zoom > Reset and it magicked to normal size. Weirdly, that zoom setting seems to be site-specific and persists between sessions, so perhaps I inadvertently changed it previously.

Looking good, Shai! And oh – hi! :-)

One thing: The left panel is gigantic, with a huge icon for each poster. This steals a lot of space from the main post panel, which was pressed for space already. Think you can tweak it a bit so the user icon panel to the left is smaller and thinner and the main panel gains back a little freedom? If possible, the left and right gutters could do with a little trimming too.

Another: By chance I got into the signature editing box. It says that url tags are not allowed there. I didn't try to save, but obviously I'd love to keep using my URL tags. ;-)

Also: The heading tag (h) looks very odd, it's tiny where it was nice and big before. Looks weird when the headlines are so small, I think?

I'd also add the "Last edited by" box at the bottom of each post is unduly prominent with it's highlighted red box. If anything this line is less important that the body of post, so I'd have it as unobtrusive as possible.

Yes, Firefox font size is set per domain.  Ctrl +/- or Ctrl-Scroll to change, and Ctrl-0 to reset.

It looks huge for me too, but I can't size it down on this specific forum.

I've made a couple of tweaks in the design, let me know if you're still having any issues

    • Much nicer with the moderate left panel :-)
    • Much nicer with the moderate 'edited by...' :-)
    • Still says 'no url tags' when editing signature
    • Still small heading typeface (but maybe that can't be fixed?)

    Hello Shai,

I think I found a bug with the new forum software.  Go to this page for example: https://forum.colemak.com/topic/1567-ef … -input/p7/
and click on the "1" button (at the top or bottom of the page) to go to page 1 of the topic => 404, a bad url with /$1-$2 at the end?  The buttons to go to other pages (2-8) of the topic work correctly though.

This seems to be the case only when you're clicking back FROM page 4 or later, and only TO page 1.

Any chance of getting the heading tags back to their former glory? Heading text is barely bigger than normal text still, and that's silly.

Hmmm, doesn't quite seem to work for me?

    https://forum.colemak.com/topic/2158-dr … b-edition/

I tried Ctrl+F5 to clear the cache, but the h tags are still tiny, like normal (bold, smallcap) text?
