I was a QWERTY typist for about 8 years, with a high wpm of 70.  I first heard about Colemak in college when I was trying to find a way to type faster for papers.  I started to learn Dvorak but got frustrated and searched for something else.  I learned Colemak in 2 weeks and achieved an average wpm of 75.  Then I got a new laptop, switched to Linux, and almost forgot all about Colemak.  It's been over a year since I last typed Colemak, and I just installed it in my Ubuntu Linux and I'm typing this as fast as ever in Colemak.

Yay! For being easy to remember!

How... could you forget colemak..!? Typing on a non-cmk keyboard really hurts, man.
Anyway, good to see how it manifests itself in your brain.
