    Hi,

This is a bit of a niche topic, but I was looking at the "English simplified bigram frequency" chart on the Colemak website and it doesn't have any values for pairs of the same letter (e.g 'MM', 'EE', 'OO'). Apparently they're called homogeneous digraphs. I don't think this would have a large effect on distance calculations, since your finger only traveling up and down to press the same key twice is pretty negligible in terms of physical movement unless it's further away at a mechanically disadvantaged position (stevep's fork of the layout analyzer uses a logarithmically scaling penalty due to 'Fitt's Law'). I'm more concerned about the potential effects on scoring related to same-finger bigrams. If anyone has access to or can find out what the scores of the ~26 bigrams would be (some of them are obviously zero like 'QQ'), that would be quite helpful.

    Thanks

    Here you go:
    ngram frequencies

The includes frequencies for single character, 2 characters, 2 characters in any order and 3 characters.
