    I used SharpKeys to remap CapsLock → Backspace wıth QWERTY; but I later changed to Ubuntu 8.04 and the remap ıs stıll there. How can I get back my CapsLock key?

    Funny, that's the exact opposite problem to what I have. For me, CapsLock -> Backspace remap just doesn't stick in Ubuntu. It keeps reverting to Capslock, despite having followed the instructions on the website.

    Sorry I don't have more usefui advice. But maybe whatever solution you get could help me, too.
