I'm on Windows 7 atm and the Colemak keyboard layout works perfectly with 99% of the applications. Now there is one application that it works with but the ^ symbol doesn't work. I spent about 1-2 hours yesterday debugging the layout with the application and also rebuilding the layout with the latest version of Microsoft Layout Creator 1.4. Some times when I built a layout, it worked with the application, other times, it didn't (maybe there was a cache issue which I believed there was). Anyways, I submitted a bug report to the developer of the Master Key typing tutor application, but I also am submitting it here because there could also be a conflicting problem internally between the layout, the OS, and the version that Shai used to build the layout back in 06.

This is what I get when I try to compile the source that was provided by Shai in the Colemak package for Windows:

This is what I get when I recreated the same layout with the same dead keys etc from a clean slate in version 1.4 of the layout creator:

Just wanted to get that out there.

Alright so the problem was indeed in the Master Key application, it was only affecting the ^ key. The creator of the application just messaged me and told me that it's now fixed :)
